Why Interested in Coaching
I work as a communications and leadership development consultant in Addis Ababa, partnering with CSOs, NGOs, and growing companies to design and facilitate leadership programs, team retreats, and strategic conversations. I bring over a decade of experience in the development sector and work as a certified trainer through Toastmasters, where I’m also a Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM). Over time, I’ve realized that while training builds skills, coaching creates deeper shifts in how people think, lead, and relate to themselves and others. I recently transitioned to full-time freelance work, which makes this the perfect moment to intentionally sharpen my coaching skills and earn the right credentials to support leaders more effectively as they navigate complexity and change. I’m really looking forward to learning with a thoughtful, diverse cohort.
