  ADVANCED Coaching: Spring 2026, Cohort 30

  Note: You must complete our BASIC Coaching course as a pre-requisite to this course.

  KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES  Engage in disciplined self-reflection to build your coaching skills around the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies of coaching. Master a new level in your coaching practice by absorbing the principles in The C.O.A.C.H. Model for Christian Leaders (a free ebook copy is included for every student). Expand your personal capacity to help others to grow, flourish and transform their lives "from the inside out."  Dramatically improve your ability to equip  effective leaders within your family, profession and community.  Begin your journey (if you wish) toward the International Coaching Federation (ICF) coaching credential, the worldwide "gold standard" of professional coaching.

  TWO REGISTRATION OPTIONS--Please read carefully!

  • Advanced Course INCLUDING "ICF Credential Track"    Students interested in pursuing an ICF Coaching Credential through LCN can begin working on your ICF credential during this course!  
  • • This track offers additional resources such as personal feedback on your coaching skills, and guidance on beginning the ICF requirement of 100 coaching hours.

  • Advanced Course ONLY   This course is for students interested in mastering their coaching skills, but not interested in an ICF coaching credential.

  KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES AND OBJECTIVES Develop a coaching mindset and practical skills to begin using immediately with family, friends, and work colleagues.  Empower other leaders to increase their leadership capacity and discover/live out their individual callings. Develop skills of deep listening, powerful questions and offering insightful feedback that unlock personal growth.  Engage in disciplined personal self-reflection to use your growing coaching skills more effectively in all situations.

  This course will meet for four 3-hour sessions: two in person in Malawi and two online.
